Clearly the first resource for afe knowledge is
afe itself. Go here first.
Plenty of things about the books, as well as some information
about AFE (including the FAQ), can be found at Kamion's
Guardians
of the West site. There's a lot of stuff here to keep you busy.
If you're thinking of posting to afe, you may have noticed that a lot
of posters take an Eddings 'alias' or nickname. To prevent confusion,
there is a central register
of these names; if you're thinking of taking on an Eddings alias,
check it out on the register to make sure someone else
isn't using it, both to save confusion and out of simple courtesy.
If you want to know more about aliases registration, check the
nvFAQ.
There is a Daemon called Horja among the AFE members rolls. Horja is owned
by me but written and controlled by Kam, and it (he? she? These things are
unclear) posts to afe about people's birthdays. To have your name added
to Horja's black and midnight Book of Birthdays,
drop me a mail.
There has been a long-running discussion about how words from the
Eddings books are
pronounced. To aid a solution in this, Ghnomb has created the Eddings pronunciation page so
that you can see what different pronunciations there are, which are
preferred (if any), and make corrections.
Another extremely useful resource is Matt Korth's
Bel/Mal
Timeline. It traces time from the
beginning to the end of the "Garion" series.
You can see some recent posting stats for afe
here.
